Oregon Coast

I can't believe how long it had been since I saw the Ocean in real life. I been living in a land-locked state for almost 5 years now, and even though CA is a close drive, Kolby and I have only gone once. And it was when him and I were driving home from Oregon that we went to the beach. I have some beautiful photos of the Oregon Coast that I want to share. I know, that its nothing people haven't seen before, but for me, it almost new. Three long years without the mist of the Ocean. That, in my opinion, it way too long.

Also, we stopped at the wonderful Tillamook Cheese Factory and had some awesome cheese samples and ice cream (The best you know) and ate at Mo's. Being Mo's is a Oregon coast staple, we had to put it in the trip. Sadly, the chowder I remember loving has bacon in it so no chowder for me.

Oregon pre-post

   *via*
I flew to my lovely home state of Oregon on the 11th, and stayed for a week. The reason that I flew up was because my one and only Niece was turning one on the 14th.  I came to help my sister plan and to celebrate this momentous occasion. Also, it was time to head back home and see some of my growing family, ( my Nephews, are so so handsome!!) and friends up there that I haven't seen in years. I took a lot of photos on my dads awesome camera and so this is just a pre-I need to blog something- post that I'll do in section over the next few days.  More to come my friends.

Duck... Duck... Tiger?

On the 10th, the Oregon Ducks played the BCS game here in Arizona.
As an Oregon native, I was so excited to watch the game and support the team. On game day, I rocked my Oregon shirt at work along with green and yellow hair bows and bracelets. I left work early to watch the game with Kolby and his best friend Nate at our local watering hole. Kolby and Nate we already there waiting for me, and to watch the Ducks play what we knew was going to be and excellent game against the Auburn Tigers. We also knew it would be a tough game for both teams but had faith in Oregon. Sadly, with 2 second on the clock, Oregon lost and we were all shocked and disappointed. But I will say, that it was a great game and it was so close! Good thing is, that Oregon wont be losing many players to graduation so next year they should be just as awesome! We are rooting for you Oregon!!

Better watch out Auburn!
