My (soon to be) Sewing Machine

Last night, I was looking around on craigslist for a sewing machine. For a while now I have been looking around and pricing them out but haven't found one that has spoken to me, until now. I found this beautiful 1954 Singer 99k sewing machine. I saw it and thought "Here it is! I found you!" So today I called the number at talked to the guy who owns it. He was very nice and he said I could stop by and look at it. So with safety precautions (Haha thanks Sammie) I went over there and looked at it. She was beautiful and I'm so glad I called. He was putting a new motor on it today and I'll be able to get it after work tomorrow. I'm so excited to have my own sewing machine so I can make goodies for me and my family. I can't tell you how many times I thought "If I only had a sewing machine..." and very soon I will! I can't wait to start crafting.

Here is the photo that he posted on craigslist that made me fall in love

After I get it all set up on my desk tomorrow, I'll post some pictures of my own.

Duck... Duck... Tiger?

On the 10th, the Oregon Ducks played the BCS game here in Arizona.
As an Oregon native, I was so excited to watch the game and support the team. On game day, I rocked my Oregon shirt at work along with green and yellow hair bows and bracelets. I left work early to watch the game with Kolby and his best friend Nate at our local watering hole. Kolby and Nate we already there waiting for me, and to watch the Ducks play what we knew was going to be and excellent game against the Auburn Tigers. We also knew it would be a tough game for both teams but had faith in Oregon. Sadly, with 2 second on the clock, Oregon lost and we were all shocked and disappointed. But I will say, that it was a great game and it was so close! Good thing is, that Oregon wont be losing many players to graduation so next year they should be just as awesome! We are rooting for you Oregon!!

-Sadness after the game-

Better watch out Auburn!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year everyone! I hope that everyone had a great, happy, and safe holiday. Kolby and I had a wonderful one that's for sure. On Christmas we had a little present exchange at our place before heading to my parents house with our good friends Nate and Tia. We had home made cinnamon rolls (which were amazing by the way- Thanks Dad.) Then we headed out to go shooting which is always a good time. Kolby, my Dad, and I haven't gone out since Mark Hall was in town so it was long over due. So, we set up camp and fired away. We finally blew up the pumpkins that I had sitting on my balcony so it was well worth it and it was a lot of fun! then, we headed back to my parents house to have dinner with Mike and Rebecca and my cute little nephews, Jackson and Walker. After dinner we did gifts then off we went to go see Kolby's family.

Kolbys family had got the Kinet for his little sister and let me be the first to say that it is beyond crazy! its like a little alien or something! it scopes you out and remembers you and actually works like they say. you move, it moves. Even when I would brush the hair out of my eyes, my avatar would do the same. Kinda creepy. Wait, take that back, WAY creepy. but very awesome at the same time. Worked up a sweat for sure. It was a blast though. Everyone of us was jumping around and the kinet takes picture when your playing and shows you after and its laughs for all.

Goodbye to 2010, and hello 2011. Thank you to everyone who made 2010 a wonderful and exciting year. Thanks for all the love and the laughs and making my year great. XOXO
